About Murphy-Net.com

Welcome to Murphy-Net.com. This website is for researchers of the Murphy surname and the descendants of Ezekiel Murphy and related families. Ezekiel migrated from North Carolina to Rutherford County, Tennessee in the early 1800's and made his home here. His descendants have migrated to California, Texas and Oklahoma to name a few states. If you feel you are a descendent, please feel free to use the data contained here. As you find information that we do not have posted, please feel free to contribute.

Murphy-Net Update

Due to technical reasons and a lack of time on my part, Murphy-Net has been down for some time. I have recently started rebuilding the site and I decided to go ahead and activate it after several requests. The site and system is fully functional, but not all data is available or currently displays properly. I am reformatting old data to better function with the system as well as adding new stuff. Hopefully the work I am doing will make the site more accessible and convenient to use. As always, if you find errors or have data or media to add to the system please contact me. Remember that to get full access to the site you must register (see Register for a User Account in the sidebar).

Don't forget to keep checking back as new items will be added frequently. Thanks for your patience and enjoy the site.
